T640 system board fan 3-6 errors

I repeatedly getting these critical system errors after a gpu kit installation. Fans are spinning and working but this errors is quite annoying. Is it normal or I'm using some kind of wrong model fans? Thanks a lot for your help and time.

Hello roystudio,

The current warning you see looks to be for the Warranty expiring in February.

Hello, how many fans have you got at the moment?

https://dell.to/41RcgYe

Your system supports a total of eight fans, including six hot-swappable fans and two external fans.

Listed below are the restrictions for fan redundancy:

  • GPGPU configurations are not supported at 35deg. C of ambient or above.
  • Mellanox 100G NICs are not supported.

Thanks for your feedback, as I can see your BIOS and iDRAC are up to date. You can clear SEL https://dell.to/47ufOkl and reset iDRAC https://dell.to/4aKOnWl

I can see Sunon Fans under T640 parts but I'm not sure the fans are Dell labeled.

Ok, i cleared SEL and reset iDRAC and now it shows this warning error without any record in lifecycle/se logs or details.

That's good. I think its okay. let's monitoring for a while. If you want to see a deeper log you can review the TSR log. But it will just say about the history log (like deleted SELs) now because the current status seems okay for now.  https://dell.to/3TRDrjt

Okay, last question, can it be somehow related to my ending support service?
