Poweredge R410 Hard Drives upgrading to SSDs
Good afternoon, colleagues.
I have an old server Dell PowerEdge R410 and my reality is I still need to use it for 4 VMs (1 - AD/DHCP,DNS, 2 Utility server, 3 - CUC, 4 - Cisco Umbrella). The host OS is ESXI 6.5.
So the server is so slow for me now.
RAM:32GB
Storage: 1.8TB
How can I upgrade it?
Could you suggest to me any SSDs? Does it support it?
Appreciate any answers (except rudeness :) )

Hello,
yes the SSD is a good solution, if the bottleneck is the datastore SSD is a good solution, I can verify if it supported if you have the model of the PERC that is installed in the server.
Thanks

Ok. Got it. Thank you!
Could you please recommend me HDD requirements or the link with compatible HDDs?
I can see "Yellow health" for bay 1. I guess that is why I have that problem.
