Dell ME 4024 SAN firmware uprade issue.

Hi Team,

I am using a Dell EMC PowerVault ME4024 SAN.

Previously, the SAN was running with dual controllers without any issue. However, Controller A failed, and since then the system has been operating only on Controller B.

We have now replaced the faulty Controller A with firmware GT280R014-01 with another controller, but unfortunately the controller is not coming online or showing operational status.

Could anyone please assist or suggest the required steps to bring Controller A back into operation?

Current observations:

  • Controller B is working fine with firmware  GT280R006-02

  • Storage and volumes are accessible through Controller B

  • Replaced Controller A is inserted properly, but not becoming operational

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thank you.
