M.2 Slot Specifications Required -Precision 3630 Tower

Please can someone tell me what are the specifications of the M.2 slot on myDell Precision 3630 Tower. Is it 4x4 or 3x4? I have a generation 3x4 Samsung 970 Plus SSD that I am hoping to fit.

it is gen 3 PCIe M.2 connected to 4 lanes

Hey! The Precision 3630 Tower typically has an M.2 slot with PCIe Gen 3x4 support, so your Samsung 970 Plus SSD should work perfectly. Just make sure the BIOS is updated to the latest version for optimal compatibility.

Many thanks for that information. Looks like I'll be fitting the Samsung drive to my PC once they both arrive
