Real-world feedback from anyone who has already applied the update?
This is a really important advisory, especially for users running high-performance workloads. The Vmin shift instability explains a lot of the random crashes people were reporting earlier this year. BIOS-level microcode fixes are helpful, but they also rely on users actually applying updates — which often gets overlooked. It’s good that Intel clarified unaffected CPUs as well, since there was a lot of confusion around that. Would be interesting to hear real-world feedback from anyone who has already applied the update.
