T3600 upgrade from windows 7 to WIndow 10 failure
I have a Dell PRecision T3600 workstation that I need to upgrade to WIndows 10. I have upgraded all the firmware and drivers to the latest levels but the upgrade seems to be failing on the on board Intel raid controller. I have read thru all the different posts on this and havent found anything that will work. Any ideas of full proof way to upgrade this PC to WIndows 10? I am using the raid controller for raid 1.

There are variant settings on a system and are many different way to install/upgrade Windows. Don't know a full proof way to upgrade, but you can start here.
If all else fails, download Windows creation tool to make an installation USB for a clean install.
If your data is value to you, keep a backup.

Are you saying you're having trouble upgrading the Intel RAID controller driver? If so, and assuming this means you're still in Windows 7, are you sure the driver version you're trying to install works with Windows 7?
If this is the case, I'd just go ahead and upgrade to Windows 10, check device manager, and if you have issues at that point, then go ahead and try to find appropriate Windows 10 drivers. I've upgraded a lot of PC's from 7 to 10 and I always upgrade Windows first, drivers later. Can't think of any reason to do it the other way around. In fact, some drivers might get automatically upgraded for you as part of the Windows upgrade process if Microsoft has them.

I have also upgraded a lot of windows 7 to windows 10 but this one PC type is a problem child. I have done a lot of reseach and noticed other people are having issues with the upgrade with the same or similar configurations. At this point, my PC has all the latest windows 7 drivers that I am aware of, bios is at the latest revision. Here is another person reporting the same issue and it looks like their issue has not been resolved either.
