T7960 won't shutdown
System only reboots when screen click or power button pushed - won't shut off.
BIOS settings: (unchanged)
AC Recovery - Power OFF
Auto On Time - Disabled
Deep Sleep Control - S4 & S5
USB Wake Support - OFF
Wake on LAN - Disabled
Block Sleep - OFF
Intel speed shift technology - On
USB power share - OFF
Active state power management - Auto
Screen click shutdown displays "Going into Standby Mode" (??) before immediate reboot
Power button LED fades down twice then immediate full on before reboot
Holding the power button in for 20+ seconds causes reboot with BIOS setup warning display
I haven't tried unplugging power cord because I don't know when to do it
No Events found!

In Power Profile, turn OFF Fast-Startup.
With a bootable SSD, you don't need it anyway.
If still a problem, look in Reliability History Report and find out what is happening.
Yeah, you need to be able to do a proper/clean Shut-Down.

Hello,
just to make sure, has windows update by chance applied the february updates just before you had this issue ?
This said, try to open a command prompt and do a shutdown using this command
shutdown /s /t 0

Win 11 System > Power settings
power mode - best performance
screen off - 20 min
sleep - Never
hibernate - Never
energy saver - Off
power button - Shutdown
sleep button - Shutdown

Thanks to all and Dell Support
Upgraded BIOS from 2.16.1 to 2.17.0
Changed BIOS to Factory Settings
WIN 11 - disabled Fast Startup and Allow Wake Timers
Screen click shutdown worked!
