where is the security advisory? Specifically DSA-2025-005
My firmware was just updated - the Dell support page says "This release contains security updates as disclosed in the Dell Security Advisory DSA-2025-005. For more information, see Dell Security Advisories and Notices." So I go to that page (https://www.dell.com/support/security/en-us) and search for "DSA-2025-005" and there is NO information. (I also searched "DSA-2025-025" and it pops up with that advisory so I know the search SHOULD work.) Then I tried general search engines with no luck.
Can anyone point me to Dell Security Advisory DSA-2025-005? Thank you in advance.

Hi, just upgraded my firmware System BIOS. Everything goes well, but it won't pop out a window to show me the BIOS upgraded successfully after restart windows like before. I tried again and again. Found the BiosConnect Wireless drivers can not upgrde from 2.23.0 to 2.42.1.
Everything is fine to use, just a little awkward. Does anyone met this? why? How to fix it?
Thanks a lot~

@HedgeFundManager Thank you for the reply. Can you please tell me how you know this is related to W11? Have you found the Dell Security Advisory DSA-2025-005?
I just searched for the advisory and it is now available. It says it was published 1/8/25 & updated 1/16/25 so I have no idea why the same search on 1/17/25 came up with nothing. (Thanks, Dell, this is just one of the reasons I am no longer a fan! Of my twelve current machines only seven are Dell, 15 years ago I was ALL Dell)
BTW it was windows update that found & installed the BIOS update on my
W10 IoT Ent LTSC V21H2 Dell Optiplex 7020 machine. I had two 7020's but the other one died. And I always do clean installs of the OS using Windows 10 Decrapifier. Then I image and install the Dell Support Assistant and record the drivers it installs. Then I rollback to my image (now without DSA) and manually install the drivers.

@DougMacHi Correction - this BIOS update was installed on my Dell Precision 7520 laptop, same OS, same procedure. And, curious, I just noticed I can view the Firmware version in Device Manager on the laptop but there is no firmware listed in Device Manager on the Optiplex 7020

@HedgeFundManager This isn't really answering the question. I'm seeing the same issue. When searching for the Security Advisories DSA-XXXX-XXX it is no where to be found. If DELL is going to go this route then they need to do a better job of listing all DSA's. I did sign up for the emails but some are not even showing up inside the DSA lookup.
