Cannot install the 3110 CN laser printer on my Mac

I've been attempting to install for about 2 hours now. Every time I try to install from the dell site, I am told installation as successful but then am unable to find it among my printers and not allowed to manually add to my printer list--Anyone know a trick I haven't tried???

I don't know what's happening, but are you using the driver on the CD that came with the printer or have you downloaded the latest from this site? (It's available here.)

Might as well try that first. Are you using ethernet or usb? Is the printer panel displaying a "Ready" message, or something else?

Your firewall may be blocking the installation too.
