Unable to access PST file
Hi,
I am using Dell Inspiron 3558 and have recently upgraded my system from Windows 7 to Windows 10. After upgrading, I am no longer able to start the MS Outlook. I stuck every time with error “Cannot start the Microsoft Outlook….”.
However, I have tried ScanPST.exe but didn't get any satisfactory response.
Please help!

Hi Jesse,
Thanks for the prompt response!
I have tried ScanPST.exe, but it terminates in the middle phase repeatedly.
Can you suggest me any other alternative?

Hi,
I have followed the reference i.e. suggested by you. Unfortunately, It didn't fix existing issue in MS Outlook.
Like you, I have found a resource of another expert (Microsoft MVP), mentioned below:
As per his direction, I have tried the demo version of Stellar Phoenix Outlook PST Repair Software. It works on corrupt PST file, but saving option is limited to paid users only.
However, I am not interested in spending my hard earned money but can't afford the loss of a single email. So, I am planning to register the full version of this software from stellarinfo.
In case, you have the idea about any other free software then guide to me.

What MS Outlook version? Only outlook 2007 or later is compatible with win 10. Outlook 2003 will run but at your own risk since it is no longer supported by MS. You have to reinstall Office 2003's Outlook after the upgrade to 10 if you want to use it or retrieve your info. Consider using a diff mail program like Thunderbird, Gmail or win 10 Mail.
