unable to delete program files
Dear DELL-Jesse L,
i am using Dell Inspiron 1525 32bits.
after installing and uninstalling some software like ghost converter(for pdf creator) and micromax data card soft, some files left in programme files.
and while deleting them(program files) after uninstalling the error message comes that unable to delete because files are open in some other programme.
please let me know if their is any other method to delete them.

If you uninstall a program and the left over files will not delete because they are still in use, restart the PC and then you should be able to delete them.
Another option is to download the free version of Revo Uninstaller HERE Use Revo to uninstall programs as it will also delete left over files and even left over registry entries.

Have you tried deleting those files while in Safemode? By doing that, perhaps the programs using them will not be running.

Thanks Fireberd,The Revo Unistaller program is excellent. My PC was causing me serious problems and I knew it was 1 of 3 programs causing the problem. Windows Unistaller wasnt working. I used Revo and my PC is working again.

You will have to reinstall the program and then using Revo Uninstaller, uninstall it.
Tom, the Revo Uninstaller does work well. I use it myself and have considered buying the full version and supporting them but I don't need all the extras the full version has.
