Need OS install dvd

Question

I purchased a PowerEdge server that had the warranty expire almost a year ago. I need to reinstall the Server 2016 that came with it. I don't have the reinstallation DVD's. I tried calling, they said send an email. I emailed support. Dell support, in response, said I should ask here, or I can pay a 1 time fee of $1000.00 for the location. ( go figure) All I need is the link for where to get the OS I purchased. They don't seem to exist in any support link, even using the service tag or code as an identifier.

I'm confused why the local support directed you to this platform when they had your service tag. Did you purchase OEM? Then you should be able to see the license on your server frame. https://dell.to/3XfoNmg And when you first called them up, they should have been able to tell you whether you purchaed OEM or not since they had your service tag.
