1. Set SQL services to Manual. 2. Create the resources in the sequence - Disk, IP, Host name & services. 3. Check there failover individually first. 4. Create a resource group with the above resources in the same sequence. 5. Test the failover now.
The problem with agents going down sounds like the known issue with unpatched version 5.2. Install the hotfixes available on ftp.legato.com site (in pub/cluster). And stay away from 5.2.1 for now.
