Backbone warning: sendto failed err=10035 dest 127.0.0.1:3632

We have a 2 node domain (servers CP1 and CP2) running AutoStart 5.2 SP2 on Windows 2003 SP1. All we are really making use of is the disk mirroring component and a few scripts to detect and initiate failovers.

In testing the power was pulled from the active server (CP1) causing a failover to CP2. CP2 did not come up correctly so it was rebooted. We could not get CP2 to start correctly until CP1 was powered back on. Just before CP1 is powered back on there are many events such as the following in the event log:

1/15/2009 9:01:23 PM AutoStartBB (CPHA) Warning None 3839 N/A CALLPILOT2 "Backbone warning on CALLPILOT2 (pid 3952) Thu Jan 15 21:01:23 2009
in ISIS_MGT_INTERCL_MODULE cl_inter.c/intercl_xmit(), line 1692
ID00003839 sendto failed err=10035 dest 127.0.0.1:3632

I find it strange the the loopback IP address is specified in the log. Any suggestions on what could be the cause or what logs should be examined to investigate further would be appreciated.

When you say that CP2 did not want to come up properly, what do you mean exactly? Autostart Agent would not start until CP1 was back online? This makes me suspect that someone might have used CP1 IP address as the isolation detection IP address, is that possible? Check both in the Domain Isolation detection tab and in each node config if there is a isolation network configured. Both nodes are primary agents?
