Replication Mgr - RM_DR_UTIL.jar (Reverse Sync of Exchange DB LUN)
Dear All,
I am in the final stages of testing re upgrading from RMSE3.1 to 5.1 (SP3). One thing that has stumped me is the last stage in our design which is the reverse sync once the data is in DR. To confirm the basic process is:
1) RM performs the local clone of the Exchange luns (logs and DB) on the local array. The clones are mounted to the Production mount host.
2) RM then SANCopys the clones to the DR array and mounts to the DR Clones.
3) Once this has finished I want to activate a reverse sync of the DR clone DB luns to the DR DB source luns.
4) I am using Replistor to replicate Exchange logs direct from Prod Log LUNS to DR log LUNS.
In RMSE I used to use RM_DR_Utility.exe but this has since changed to RM_DR_Util.jar. I am very suprised that I cannot find anyone using this util in the forums?
How can I perform the reverse sync of just the Exchange DB luns at DR? Any help would be very much appreciated.

I suggest you contact your local EMC Replication Manager Implementation Specialist on how to proceed with this.
Due to the nature of DR, the design and configuration of this tool was always dealt with by EMC personnel to absolutely ensure it is configured correctly to avoid issues when it does come to DR.
