EmailXtender 4.81 - EmailXtract CodePage 1250

Hello

I am running an EmailXtract job on one of our users mailbox' and its running, but seems to be interupted and then shows CODEPAGE 1250.

Can someone explain this to me?

Is it to do with Character Set or language in messages in the mailbox?

We are running Exchange 2007 Sp2 with Emailxtender 4.81

Thanks

Good Day,

I queried the error included in the forum posting and discovered an article that maybe of use.  It is ESG105911, and the body of the article is included for your review.  Please let us know if this answers your question.

Thank you.

MJ

Symptoms
Mail Server: Exchange
Recent Changes: N/A
When viewing the EmailXtract log following completion of a task, the error message "Could not set profile code page 1250 hr = 80040700" appears multiple times.

Cause

This issue is the result of a corrupt MAPI profile.  This may be the result of two similar mail accounts on the system as indicated by the "hr = 80040700" portion of the error which is defined as "MAPI_E_AMBIGUOUS_RECIP".  This means that the recipient is ambiguous and may have the same name as a similar profile.

Resolution

Fixed In: N/A

To resolve this issue, create a new MAPI profile for the EmailXtender Service Account.  Please use the following steps to delete the current MAPI profile(s) and recreate the profile for the EmailXtender Service Account.

  1. Enable the SuspendMailPull key in the system registry by inserting a "1" in place of the "zero".
  2. Wait for the message queues used by EmailXtender to empty of messages being processed.  The current state of the message queues can be viewed using the Computer Management > Services and Applications > Message Queuing > Private Queues.
  3. Ensure no EmailXtract tasks are currently running or scheduled to begin within the next few minutes.
  4. Stop the "Legato EmailXtender Administration" service from Computer Management > Services and Application > Services.  Please ensure that all EmailXtender services have stopped before proceeding.  Please note that searches and shortcut retrieval requests from users will not resolve while services are stopped.
  5. Click Start > Control Panel and open "Mail".
  6. From the "Mail Setup - Default Outlook Profile" menu, click "Show Profiles".
  7. From the list of available profiles, select the profile used by the EmailXtender Service Account and click "Remove".  Note: In Outlook 2000 the default profile is MS Exchange Settings and in Outlook 2003 is "Outlook". Since Profile name is customizable therefore if unware of Service Account profile, check the properties to see association with Service Account.
  8. All other temporary profiles named "ex####" should also be deleted.  Note:  Any language specific profiles will be recreated automatically as needed.
  9. Create a new EmailXtender Service Account profile using the same profile name deleted in Step 6.
  10. Uncheck the "Use Cached Exchange Mode" option after specifying the Microsoft Exchange server.
  11. Once the profile is created restart all EmailXtender Services.
  12. Disable the SuspendMailPull key in the system registry by inserting "zero" in place of the "1".

The EmailXtract task should now successfully complete without displaying the "Could not set profile code page 1250 hr = 80040700" error.
