I'm having the same issue. After reading many materials and help posts here, I'm concluding that there is something weird with the installer itself. With a lot of help from Imacri (https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/supportassist-for-pcs/supportassist-installer-not-running/68770e93cb44320200362b0a?commentId=68da8b634ab68b75b528a9de) only clue I have is this from c:\ProgramData\Dell\SupportAssist\Agent\logs\Installer\Installer.log:

Looks like there are embedded resources missing in the app. Can someone from DELL QA check the thing?

... also in that moment they are asking to change permission ok yes or no and then just an pop up and nothing ...

Hi Akhil_2022:

What is your Dell computer model, Windows operating system [open a Run dialog box (Windows key + R) and enter winver to find the version and OS build number], antivirus, and BIOS version?  To find your current BIOS version open a Run dialog box, enter msinfo32 to open your System Information, and look for the field named "BIOS Version / Date" in the summary.

If you go to Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features what version of Dell SupportAssist, if any, is currently installed on your computer?  Has your Dell service warranty expired yet?

In the mean time here are a few suggestions you can try:

Download a fresh copy of SupportAssistinstaller.exe from the direct download link at https://downloads.dell.com/serviceability/catalog/SupportAssistinstaller.exe (currently file version 4.10.7.01742), save to your desktop, and right-click and choose "Run as Administrator".

The system requirements for SupportAssist v4.10.x posted <here> in the current release notes also state that the Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime version 8.0.x. *** is a pre-requisite. If that .NET Desktop Runtime is missing from your system install it manually (available for download at https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/8.0) and then restart your computer and see if the SupportAssistInstaller.exe installer runs to completion. From my Win 10 machine:

*** NOTE: If you have the correct Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime v8.0.x installed it will have the word "Desktop" in the program name but will be missing the word ".NET" as shown above.

If that doesn't help try removing the Mark of the Web (MotW) from the downloaded SupportAssistinstaller.exe file as instructed <here> (i.e., right-click the .exe file , choose Properties, enable the Unblock checkbox on the General tab as shown below, and click Apply) and then restart your computer and try running the installer again. MotW is a Windows security feature that tags files downloaded from an untrusted source with a hidden marker that signals Windows to treat these files as potentially unsafe, and unblocking disables the MotW tag.
