VMAX query regarding initiator groups having multiple WWNs

hello,

I am trying to create an initiator group with a WWN which is already existing in another initiator group. SYMCLI is not allowing me to do so and giving the below message:

# symaccess -sid 26 add -name IG_1 -type initiator -wwn c05076004ec00002

The specified WWN is already in use

Is it because that a WWN cannot be used in multiple IGs ?

Also, the IG the wwn c05076004ec00002 is presently existing, already has multiple WWNs. Now, I am not sure how to create an IG and go with my allocation ? Please help
