Dell OpenManage - Update Management Plugin (Offline Update)
I have a range of servers that do not have internet connection, due to the large number of servers I've installed Dell OpenManage to baseline and try to update the drivers.
I have all my servers checked in and using the latest catalog file (placed on a NFS share) to see what's what. My issue is that I've created a repository but the task keeps trying to get out to the internet to download the updates.
How do I get it to point to a local share rather than trying to get to the internet?

Thanks for your reply.
No I'm not. I may have miss read the documentation but I thought that using Update Manager plugin would alleviate this step. Do I need Repository manager installed as well?

Hi, you can use Dell Repository Manager. It allows you to create custom repositories, based on the systems and updates you need. I'm not sure what causes an issue while using the update manager plugin. Just an idea, it might be related to role-based privileges. I'd prefer not to use the Dell repository manager unless there's a plugin for OpenManage otherwise it's an additional server I need to build. As it stands at the moment I only have one account for OpenManage which is the admin account.
Is there a certain way I need to create a share for the Update Manager plugin to see the .exe drivers i've downloaded?

Thank you, I decided to download the SUU ISO and exported it and it's all working now.
