ePSA Errors 0251 + 0451

Hi I have a client who is hanging onto their Dell PE T320.  The server went down and I ran ePSA which reported two errors

2000-0251

2000-0415

  1. As suggested in one of Dell's support docs, I downloaded the DSU ISO for the model, it exited with status 34 suggesting that no updates were needed.
  2. After downloading the HW inventory and Lifecycle logs, I checked other areas were accessible/ok such as BIOS, iDRAC, Raid Controller.  Nothing showed any issue.
  3. Lastly I disconnected the server from the AC supply (an APC SMC3000) and allowed it to sit for 3 mins, reconnected it.  It cleared the "Orange Status" in the Status screen.

A review of the event Lifecycle xml log says

The watchdog timer reset the system.

0x19,0x02,0x02,0x15,0x97,0x41,0x62,0x20,0x00,0x04,0x23,0x71,0x6F,0xC1,0x04,0xFF

A review of the OS logs shows no instances of something within windows Freezing, and staff were connected to the server right up until it went AWOL.

Is there any clue in this string from the LC "RawEventData>0x19,0x02,0x02,0x15,0x97,0x41,0x62,0x20,0x00,0x04,0x23,0x71,0x6F,0xC1,0x04,0xFF" that can shed some more light.

This log is for watchdog initiated by iDRAC due to hung in operating system.

Thanks Shine, That I knew, The OS event logs show everything is okay until the reboot from the ASR.  What I am hoping is that there is a reason Dell gathers that string of data and knows what it means
