Need a iDRAC7 and LCC update procedure for a PowerEdge T320 (2013 vintage)
I have a T320 (purchased in 2013) running server 2012. I recently update the BIOS to 2.9.0 from 1.5.1 but not the iDRAC or LCC revs. Did I jump the gun and not update things in correct sequence together? Or and I just update the iDRAC and LCC in steps like mentioned in rcorralhit post on Oct 7 2019?
Where are the revs/updates from Dell for these items?
Thanks

Hello, would this help? I think you can try this.
Platform Specific Bootable ISO, PET320 20.07.00 | Driver Details | Dell US
https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverId=8X1D3#:~:text=Platform%20Specific%20Bootable%20ISO%20performs%20firmware%20server%20component,firmware%20Update%20Packages%20required%20for%20updating%20the%20server.&msockid=1a5e8444c37364fc023690acc29e65bd
Platform Specific Bootable ISO performs firmware server component updates of DELL EMC PowerEdge Server in a pre-OS environment. The ISO carries all the Dell EMC firmware Update Packages required for updating the server.
ISO should do it for you.

Hello,
iDRAC with Lifecycle Controller v. 2.65.65.65 | Driver Details | Dell US
Above is the latest version.
"Or and I just update the iDRAC and LCC in steps like mentioned in rcorralhit post on Oct 7 2019?"
Could you link the post you mentioned above so that we can have a look?

Hello, I just found this thread and I am looking for some clarification/feedback. I am new to iDRAC and just got an old T320 server and have some questions. Can iDRAC run the bios updates? currently the system has no OS on it. Also, I wanted to verify an update path since this thing is very very far behind on update. The list was long for some of them but I wanted to see if this was the right way to do it? These updates were all listed on the units download site. Any help would be appreciated. I hope this reply does not get marked as spam like my first attempt to get help was. Thanks

So I should look for answers on that web site? Looks promising. Will check it out. I'm new to the server stuff, or at least the "full throttle" stuff. Worked with computers since the mid 60's. Lot more layers in the server world. Time for a new swim routine... Thanks

@Dell-Young E ,
That's a lot of territory to "explore"!! Any idea of where to start?

@DELL-Young E Thanks, will give it a try. Trying to download file took 4x. Connection kept terminating before complete xmt. Finally move to a newer PC but even that took 2x. So AT&T, U-verse box, phone line.. who knows. Finally burning iso to a DVD. Will let you know what I find. Having issues with installing Server 2016 on T320 server... hangs at 80% loading files. Even download the eval version. Looks like it's trying to find/load some driver(s)?? but doesn't say which ones? That's the next problem to conquer. Tried using LCC route but had issues as LCC only showed vs up to 2012. That's why I wanted to update the LCC and iDRAC. Cannon to the left of me, cannon to the right of me ...

DELL-Young E, Looks like the PE script in the iso file on the link you posted worked!! Thanks. I did get a low CMOS battery warning though and replaced it with a new one, changed the date and time and all seems to be running OK. Did the script update the LCC version too? Guess I need to check that as well. Thanks for locating that script! Now to get the Server 2016 installed w/o stopping at 80% loading. New thread??
