McAfee
I never installed Mcafee and have no interest in having it on my PC. I keep getting notifications from Mcafee. When I went to see if I could uninstall the software, it doesn't show up as being on my PC so I guess it's somehow embedded in Microsoft. How can I either uninstall anything Mcafee or block the notifications?

Try running McAfee's removal tool. Follow Method 2 at that link.

McAfee is not embedded in Microsoft, but is included by default in Dell computers purchased in recent years with no option to decline it. Although this advice may not help you, my practice in recent years was always to uninstall everything McAfee as a first job, and to never install anything McAfee as a first job.
Otherwise, I agree with RoHe, and download the uninstall tool from McAfee.
