Runtime Error HELP!!!!!

Question

I'm not sure what is going no but it is gettin on my nerves. About every 5 min. i get a pop up from windown that is like this

Header in the blue area: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Body of the popup: Runtime Error!

C:/windows\system32\cidaemon.exe

R6025

- pure virtual function call

No matter how many times I hit ok it still comes back. I have run Norton system works fix and it doesn't help I have also run Spybot and Adwhere and Norton virus looking for anything that might cause it but to no end.

Is there anyone out there that can help me???

Me too! Is this a virus or smething? My comp was just fine, then a few days ago, it started running slower, randomly freezing & I get A LOT of DLL errors, including

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

c:\windows/system32/bub.dll

msdart.dll

and many many more. What should I do?

VoodooSea,

To fix your error, go to Start > Run and type services.msc then hit the Enter key. Double click on Indexing Service, stop the process, then set the startup type to Manual.

JenyGirl,

Your problem is different and requires further analysis. Post a new message, rather than a reply to an existing message, and give us the exact text of all .dll errors you are recieving. If you have not visited Windows Update and installed all Windows Critical Updates, do this now and see if some of these errors go away.

For information, I had this same problem. I had just ran Spybot S&D a day ago. But I started having this problem today. It would give me a runtime error - c:\\programfiles\internetexployer\iexplore.exe.

r6025 - pure virtual function call.

But when I ran my Spybot S&D again, it got rid of this runtime error.

So, maybe if you try it again.
