vVNX 3.1.4 on dvs?

Hello,

I am wondering if there are any issues with deploying vVNX 3.1.4 on a distributed virtual switch? When I try to deploy the ova file, it fails with: "OVF deployment failed: Network card 'VirtualE1000' has a DVPort backing, which is not supported. This could be because the host does not support VDS or because the host has not joined a VDS."

It is not possible to modify the type of the NIC (vmxnet3...) in the deployment process and there are other vm's with e1000 nics running on this dvs.

I tried removing all NICs and adding only vmxnet3's, but vVNX did not receive a management IP, so no success with that one.

I have successfully deployed the vVNX on a standard port group and connected to the web UI. If I deploy the OVA on a standard port group and migrate the VM on an ESXi with the dvs, vVNX receives an IP and the DNS name but I am still not able to  connect to the web ui, in console I can see  "ipmi pramfs" in red

I tried cloning the vVNX, no luck.

any idea on how to successfully deploy vVNX 3.1.4 on dvs?
