Vostro 3020 sff add second ssd/sata or use pciex4 adaptor?
what leads would i need to add a 1tb 2.5 ssd internally to the above pc,there are no spares power o sata leads inside the pc

Definitely the wrong adapter above. It's one directional. Male SATA power to female 6-pin connector is the direction it goes in. It would have to be just the opposite, male 6-pin to female SATA power.
A SATA power splitter is your best bet. SATA power splitters on Amazon

In your other threaded posts, you mentioned adding an HDD instead of an SSD like you did in this thread. SATA power splitter will work just the same.
