0% available plugged in not moving
Hello, I have a Dell Vostro 2520 I just got. It was charging well a day before and now all of a sudden it's stuck on a 0% and not able to charge. It just says 0% available plugged in. But it doesn't increase. I tried a different AC adapter still nothing, tried removing battery charger and holding down the power button but I'm not still getting any changes. Please help

I got another one that charges just fine. But the problem I suspect came from updating the BIOS to the latest version A11. Possibly downgrading the BIOS to it's previous version would have worked.

The 2520 model is 9 years old. The battery is dead. Return it to the seller. Are you sure you typed the correct model #?

If you can't return it make sure it can be used with just the adapter as a desktop replacement.
Don't fall for internet sellers offering genuine dell batteries. There are lots of scams with old replacement batteries. I doubt you can find a genuine dell battery for such an old model from a trusted source. See this Thread--
