Dell Vostro 1540
Hi All,
I wanted to upgrade the processor for my dell vostro 1540 laptop
and I don’t know the LGA type
and I don’t know if core i3 is compatible with my laptop
because I am upgrading celeron to core i3
what hard drive does it works with

First generation Core i -- Celeron, i3 and i5 CPUs. i5-480 would be the fastest. These are PGA988 but must be first-generation Core i -- not the later generations, even if the socket type is the same. These never shipped with Core i7 CPUs.
One SATA hard drive or SSD (2.5").
