Vostro 5490 touchpad upgade
Vostro 5490
Hello,
I'd like to upgrade my 2020 14" Vostro 5490 touchpad. Left click makes the touchpad come down like 2mm and a bit noisy. Is it possible to replace it with newer 14" Vostro's or any Dell 14" touchpad-spare parts?
Any help will be appreciated..

The answer appears to be no -- the touchpad for the 5490 is shared only with the Inspiron 5490 and Inspiron 5498.

It's unlikely. Use your service tag with parts-people.com -- they can look up the compatibility.
Dell changes ODMs all the time -- it's unlikely successor models were made by the same manufacturer, and even if they were, the design of the touchpad likely changed.
