goatlady1965,

That confirms that at least a part of your problem is spyware (which probably accompanied your screensaver download). To get rid of that specific problem see this. To further clean up things download Ad-aware from here, Spybot from here and Microsoft AntiSpyware from here. Check online for updates to their databases then run them and delete all the spyware they identify.

goatlady1965,

From Help and Support:

If you turn off Data Execution Prevention (DEP) for a specific program, it might become vulnerable to attack. A successful attack could then spread to other programs on your computer, to your contacts, and damage your personal files. If you suspect that a program does not run correctly when DEP is turned on, check for a DEP-compatible version or update from the software publisher before you change any DEP settings.

I take it you are able to boot to Windows without a problem. Does DEP kick in when you try to do anything at all or only when you try specific actions?

when you bootup and you see the blue dell.com screen that when you hold the ctrl key and tap f11 key. caution if you do this it will put your system back to when you took it out of the box.

yes and just tells about why data execution does what it does ..it wont let me open my computer or the control panel . i havent really tried any thing else because every time i do this after it kinda reboots the tool bar and everything freezes up till its done ..
