DirectX errors

Question

When I try to run a program the following error occurs. How do I fix it? I've already tried installing it again, but an error occurs saying there was an internal error and to check the directx log, when I do this it says someting about a command line, sorry I can't be more exact there. Here's the exact message I get when trying to run the game, 'The procedure entry point DdEntry10 could not be located in the dynamic link library DDRAW.dll. How do I fix it, or is there a way to get rid of the direct x I already have, and just start out new? Thanx

Can't help you unless you post which version of DirectX you are using now. OS would be helpful, too.
