Media Direct?
How do I know if my computer is set up with Media Direct? I can't seem to locate it or find any application data. I want to wipe my hard drive, reinstall as if new, and partition for dual-boot set-up with Vista. I am running XP Pro, and have tried to locate the software but to no avail. I had Dell send me complete setup/installation discs, but cannot access info due to it telling me that it is a different OS. What should I do, and how can I find if I have Media Direct? I want to start fresh and try some different OS's. I want to make an extra partition for a Linux OS in the future. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help in advance.

to double-check, you could try looking in disk management to see if a 2-3GB partition has been allocated for MD usage.
