My Dell, formerly known as Dell Support Center, is an easy-to-use application providing personalized support resources with an updated user interface.
It automatically locates personalized system information including your System Service Tag Number, Express Service Code, PC Model as well as your Service Contract information.

How to Install My Dell
If My Dell is not installed, download from the link above and install it.
- To open the program in Windows 7 or 8, press the Windows Key
on the keyboard, type “My Dell” and click the My Dell program
Setting Up My Dell
- Upon opening My Dell for the first time you will be prompted to select the options that enable Automatic Updates
- Be sure to scroll all the way down and check the 2 boxes listed to enable Automatic Updates and Alerts. Then click OK.
- I allow my system to receive these updates and alerts.
- I allow Dell to collect Service Tag and other system usage data as described above.
- If My Dell is already installed, follow the steps below to verify that you have opted for Automatic Updates and Alerts.
- Open My Dell
- Click on the Settings Icon
- Click on Personalization on the left
- Ensure both options are checked
- Click on done
