Thanks - will try that - appreciate response.

Tried it - nothing in search process - even in hidden files.   Wonder if Dell can tell me what it is?

After trying that I contacted Dell Technical Support (online) and just tried to find out what this might be - the person at Dell suggested I REMOVE it - can you believe that?   Remove something before you know what program it actually is?   That seems insane to me when the computer is running okay.   So much for trying that avenue!

I'd suggest doing a local file search for that item, with your Search app configured to look in hidden files and folders.  It could be related to the Dell Support application, or it may be one of the Patches and Fixes downloads, although it isn't showing up in a search of Dell's downloads site, under the name provided.  If the file shows up, you may be able to determine what it's there for by examining other contents of whatever folder it might be in, or by looking for a ReadMe document associated with same.

I wouldn't bet the farm on it, but every now and then, they surprise me.
