Quicktime error
Whenever I try to open a movie file with Quicktime Pro (latest version) that does not have the ".mov" extension the player will not open it and display the following error message:
"Error -2048: the file is not a movie file"
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Quicktime without success. Any fix? Thanks.

If your file extensions aren't supported, right-click the file and select Open with and choose Windows Media Player. If that doesn't work, look up file type here to see what app supports it:
