Hi

I would suggest you try in Safe Mode with Networking, follow below mentioned steps:

  •  Restart the computer.
  •  Tap during startup until the Windows Advanced Options menu appears.
  •  Press until Safe Mode with Networking is highlighted, and then press .

In case it works try system restore else, you can restore your operating system back to factory settings.

You can also refer to this link for further help: http://dell.to/faqDIm

Please reply if you have any further questions

Reboot and press F8. On the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to highlight Last Known Good Configuration, and then press ENTER. If that works, shut down normally and reboot normally. Then run the hard drive diagnostics to make sure this wasn't a sign of a pending drive failure.

If you restore your system to factory settings you'll lose all your personal files so I hope everything is backed up, and this should be if all else fails.  If you're in the US, you can request the Windows CD from Dell here. Dell might charge you for the disk but it will be a very small charge (maybe ~$10) compared to buying it elsewhere.

If Last Good doesn't work and you get the disk from Dell, you may be able to repair the OS which won't damage your files or any software you installed. So system PC restore should be the last thing you try...
