Changing name of endpoint on WMS
Every time I change the name of an endpoint on the WMS Server it will eventually rollback to a "WT" name followed by random numbers. Is there a way I can fix this so the name I put is permanent?

You dont mention operating system, so I am going to assume ThinOS 9.
Check your WMS policy for
System Settings> Device Settings>Terminal Name
If there is anything else in there, replace it with $TN

@DELL-Scott H Yes sorry I forgot to mention the OS, it is 9.5.1079, and the WMS version is 4.4.211. As for the $TN, even if it's blank do I still need to replace it with "$TN"? Thank you for your response.

I have seen where putting $TN forces it to retain what you have defined it as. it should NOT be needed however.

@DELL-Scott H Hi Scott we are using Dell Thin clients OS 9.5.1079, and the WMS version is 4.4.21 - we have a need to change the names of 3000 devices with a 3 letter prefix. Do you know if there is an automated way of doing this?
