Connection issue with ThinOS connecting to AVD

With ThinOS9 and ThinOS10 we have trouble to connect to AVD. The app just crash

[ERROR] wvd\DUMP ...wvd crashed is written in the Eventlog

Other User have also the same problem
Connection issue with ThinOS connecting to AVD : r/AzureVirtualDesktop

We have tried different THINOS and AVD versions - no success. We also tried to disable SSO in entra. This helped for 1 day, today the problem is back

Support and Engineering are aware of this and working with Microsoft to determine root cause and resolution.   My understanding is that there were known work arounds (including the above you shared) so if they are not working, please get a case opened ASAP.

Have you tried this suggestion?

We had a similar issue here last Thursday around 6:00 PM (Brazil time). We detected that when entering the username and password, the logon process was concatenating as upn@domain.com@domain.com, which was breaking the authentication. In WMS we changed the “default domain” field to blank, and after that, it stopped concatenating, allowing users to log in again.
I believe something changed on Microsoft’s side, since the “default domain” parameter had been filled in for a long time without issues.

Feedback today is that root cause has been identified and private demo code provided to some customers for validation. I’ll circle back when I know more.

If you are affected get Dell support cases opened.

Please, can you give us some updates? We opened a ticket at Microsoft, They tell us, is a Dell problem. I can not open a Dell ticket, because we have the prolem with older 5070 TCs without support. I hope you can still help

A Root cause has been identified by Dell and Microsoft. A public fix is going through QA cycles and is planned (ETA Unknown at this time). A private build that addresses this is available from support while the permanent fix goes through testing and release.

@DELL-Scott H Is there a reference/hotfix which we can reference when contacting Dell support? We would like to test the private build asap.

Thank you.

Hi @DELL-Scott H do you have any update on this issue for us?

Can you advice us how to get this private build?

Support should be aware of and able to facilitate access to the private build for testing if you are affected.

If frontline support is unaware of it, ask them to ask their backline.   If you still are unable to get access PM me your SR# (Don't post it here) and I will look into it.
