Aurora R10 Ryzen edition, Call of Duty BO7 problem
I have an Alienware aurora R10 ryxen edition, apparently the new Call of Duty Black Ops 7 game needs secure boot and TPM 2.0 installed. Mine has both, however my TPM version is 3.92.0.5 which is not compatible with the new game coming out. I contacted Dell and the said I have the latest BIOS and nothing can be done. The in my version is the problem. I contacted AMD and they said since its an Alienware Dell/Alienware would have to put out the update. Anyone else having this problem? This is the website explains everything.

Hi
Noticed 2 posts about this, only gonna post back to one of them.
Your system may be too old or some other reason, but otherwise.....
Hope this helps...
Dell’s own posts say this fix is provided for both in‑warranty and out‑of‑warranty systems, but it’s only distributed via support cases, not the driver download page.
How to get it (step‑by‑step)
1. Open a support case / chat with Dell
Use one of these:
Dell “Get Help Now” chat:
https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-uk (then click Contact Support / Get Help Now)
Or call Dell support and ask for technical support / BIOS / TPM issue.
You want to get through to a human agent, not just the virtual bot.
2. Use this exact wording with the agent
Paste or say something like:
“Please read and follow Dell article 000387773: ‘TPM Attestation Failure on Dell Computers’.
I need the I‑REV BIOS for my model applied to resolve this issue.
Per Dell policy for this issue, this fix is provided to both in‑warranty and out‑of‑warranty systems.”
Also give them:
Service Tag
Model (e.g. Alienware Aurora R10 Ryzen, or whatever your exact model is)
Current BIOS version (e.g. from wmic bios get smbiosbiosversion or BIOS setup)
TPM manufacturer version and spec version if they ask (you can get this from PowerShell:
Get-Tpm | Select-Object ManufacturerVersion, SpecVersion)
3. If they say “out of warranty / not supported”
Push back politely with:
“This is covered under article 000387773, which explicitly includes out‑of‑warranty systems for the I‑REV BIOS.”
Ask them to escalate to a supervisor / product engineering if the first-line agent refuses.
If you’re in the UK, ask for UK technical support or Alienware support specifically if your system is Alienware.
Some users report being bounced to the reseller; in that case, restate that:
The issue is a firmware bug Dell has acknowledged.
The I‑REV BIOS is a Dell‑issued firmware, not something the reseller can provide.
4. Once they approve it
Typical delivery methods:
They create a support case and either:
Email you a direct download link to the I‑REV BIOS executable, or
Push it via their internal tooling so it appears in your system’s update tools.
Then you:
Run the BIOS update EXE in Windows (with AC power, battery charged if laptop), or
If needed, follow Dell’s standard BIOS update / recovery procedure (USB, etc.).
If Dell still refuses
If you hit a wall:
Ask for the case number and then:
Post in the Dell Community thread for your model (e.g. Aurora R10 TPM threads) and tag a Dell Community Manager @DELL-Nat M with your case number – they’ve been escalating these I‑REV requests.
Mention article 000387773 and the TPM attestation failure explicitly; that’s the key that unlocks the I‑REV path.
Kind Regards
