Hello Dell WMS Team,

I am experiencing a licensing issue with a new Wyse Management Suite On-Prem installation (WMS 5.5.0.771).

The installation itself was successfully registered in the WMS registration portal:

Registration URL:

On-Prem Identifier:

After registration, I generated the Standard license key from the portal and entered it in WMS. However, WMS rejects the key with the following message:

"Enter a valid WMS Standard Key."

Additional information:

• WMS Version: 5.5.0.771
• License type: Standard
• Installation type: On-Premises
• Registration status: Successful
• Problem: Generated Standard Key is not accepted by WMS

The registration email generated by Dell states that the key is valid for:

WMS 4.2.x – 4.4.x

However, the installed system is WMS 5.5.0.771, so I suspect that the backend registration may have generated an incompatible license key.

I found similar cases where the issue was resolved by correcting the registration data in the Dell backend and generating a new Standard key.

Could you please check the backend registration for the above On-Prem Identifier and regenerate a compatible Standard license key for WMS 5.5.0.771?
