Need help to free up space with windows 10 on my dell pc
Running Windows 10 on a Dell XPS desktop and storage is getting really tight. The system c drive has only 5GB free space left. And the PC runs slower lately, updates complain about low space, and the C drive keeps filling up even after deleting some files. Not totally sure what’s safe to remove and what might break things in order to free up more space in Windows 10.
Looking for practical advice from people who’ve dealt with this before. Built-in Windows tools, common space hogs to check, or smart cleanup tips would be great. Trying to free up space on pc without messing up the system.
Thanks in advance

Hi
I start with a command like...
del C:\*.tmp /s
Then I use Ccleaner.

There is no method of free up space that will permanently solve your problem. Replace your boot drive with a larger capacity SSD is a practical advise I can think of. Not only it will solve your free space issue, the system performance will be improved greatly as well.
