XPS 8930 has stopped booting from USB

Hi, I removed the hard drive from the computer a while ago to recycle it, but recently thought it might be useful to boot it from USB into Linux to have a play. This worked for quite a few weeks, but the computer gradually got slower and slower to boot and has now stopped booting. After 5-10 minutes it now tells me there’s no hard disk. I know(!) and this wasn’t a problem to start with. Occasionally I can get into the system side using F2 but I can’t get F12 to work at all. I have replaced the CMOS battery, done the jumper thing and done a PSU test. The latter appears to suggest the PSU is faulty (no light when plugged in) but it does seem to work (light comes on eventually) and I can’t see how this would cause the symptoms. Not sure what to try next? Thanks in advance for any tips.

@MeeshaimAli thanks for your prompt response. PSU tested and working OK. Won’t POST so not possible to reset anything. Motherboard dead I think so time to junk it.
