XPS 8940 - Purchased 2022 - Warzone/COD Attestation Failure

My system is completely up-to-date running Windows 11. I believe I may have a BIOS issue, although I have the latest available BIOS update already installed. I'm seeing that I need to contact support and reference "TPM Attestation Failure on Dell Computers". However, I can't seem to get a human because I no longer have a warranty. Is there any insight here?

Google "TPM Attestation Failure on Dell Computers" and you'll see some steps that might help.

Also Google "Warzone/COD Attestation Failure" as there are others that hit it as well.

It does seem to be a problem with the programs not reading TPM chip, but if you have the latest Dell XPS8940 BIOS, I don't think Dell will help you. It is 'out of service' and considered a 'legacy' system.

I waited patiently and there's still no resolution. I've moved to a console, and it's working fine.

I will say this, I will never purchase another Dell product. I have an XPS 8940 with an RTX 3060, and I can't play the latest games, not because of hardware limitations, but because Dell decided to no longer support a four year old system. I believe this is an attempt to push the trade-in program

What does it tell you if you run the "Call of Duty Secure Attestation Wizard" that you can download from  Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 and Secure Boot for Call of Duty ?

@gartaud

According to the Attestation Wizard, I have TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot enabled. However, because Dell will no longer update the Microsoft certificate via BIOS updates, I can't play. It's some type of certificate dated 2023 because the current one expired this month.

It's all a sham, really. Dell should be ashamed.
