XPS 8960, random power cycles and reboot
I have a XPS 8960 desktop, 32GB ram, W11 Pro, RTX 3070Ti graphics card and a Dell U3223QE 32" monitor. Since delivery two years ago I have experienced random power cycles and reboots about once/twice per week. Everything is operating normally, then you hear a 'tink' sound from the desktop box, the screen goes black and the computer reboots to the log in screen as if its just been switched on. The computer is connected to a UPS so it is not incoming mains issues, the fans/vents are clear and no graphics intensive software is being used. I contacted Dell support who checked the computer online and re-installed windows, but the problem remains. I am convinced there must be some kind of hardware issue that has been there since delivery. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be happening?

If issues are ongoing after a OS reinstall, then I'd recommend getting back with Support for additional guidance.
Contact Dell GHN (Get Help Now) chat technical support Monday through Friday. Click the blue "Get Help Now" on the right to start a private live chat session. Share the private Service Tag with them so that they can verify the ownership and warranty status. This will also generate a unique Technical Support case for your unique Service Tag. If you are hearing a click sound when it power cycles, then I would suspect a possible issue with the PSU. It would also be a good idea to test off of the UPS to ensure that it is not the issue.

@DELL-Daniel V Thank you for your reply. Regarding the UPS, the issue was present before the UPS was connected. I bought the UPS to rule out mains fluctuations, but the issue continued after the UPS was connected.
