Boot sequence does not save

Hi,

I cannot log into my computer anymore because when I change my boot sequence it is not saved. I have created a bootable windows installer (because I need to install a eom key), a windows partition and a ubuntu partition. When I try to put the usb installer at first the ubuntu partition keeps opening and the boot sequence is resetted with ubuntu on top. This is an old ubuntu installation and I dont know the password anymore.

Furthermore my original windows had been deleted as an option in de boot sequence. So I cannot work anymore becuase of this. Please help

You do not change the bios anymore. At boot start tapping F12 immediately without waiting for any screen. The boot menu will appear and you can choose the boot drive.
