KM5221W - Dell Universal Receiver Needs Reflash (FW) after "accomplished" update in Dell Peripheral Manager.
It was time for update cycle, so i started updating everything as usual.
After updating entire computer, it was time for peripherals.
Using Dell Peripheral Manager app, i updated mouse & keyboard, then... it went unresponsive.
Under devmgmt.msc it's calling back as nRF24LU1P-F32 BOOT LDR.
I've read it happened few times for Logitech Unifying, and fix was as simple as reflash under Linux.
The case is... i can't find firmware anywhere.
Anyone willing to help? :D

Hi everyone,
What caused the issue?
The latest firmware update was not available to the servers globally. This is causing a download failure for you. The dongle firmware can end up in its bootloader state when the firmware update does not complete successfully. The dongle loses communication with the keyboard and mouse.
How to resolve?
Manually download and install the following firmware:
Download this .zip file: Standalone Bootloader FW Update Utility
Extract the .zip file to a temporary folder.
Open the temporary folder and right-click
Dongle_FWUpdateTool 0.1.2.6.exe
and select Run as Administrator.Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the firmware update.
Launch the Dell Peripheral Manager application.
Run the Firmware update process in DPM.
Go back to Step.1 and repeat them if the dongle is still having issues.
Contact us by clicking on the 'Get Help Now' chat feature located in the bottom-right corner of the page.

I have the same problem, also updating the firmware with the peripherla manager, i tried installing the "Dell Universal Receiver Control Panel" but it just doesn't recognise the dongle, i found that "nRF24LU1P" it's a chip manufactured by Nordic Semiconductor, but i can't find how to reinstall the firmware for the dongle

dongle firmware flushed into nirwarna
KM5221W - Dell Universal Receiver Needs Reflash (FW) ...
Solution: Dell technician will send a new set.
Have the same I had the same experience thats end with an 1 hour long telcom to Dell tech Hotline. He just found out, that the dongle is not responsive, may by due to wrong flashing ....
Anyhow, wasting tons of time, 12 hours which are unpayed, and absolutly useless.

@RLinde I have received the same 'solution' from Dell. They're going to send me a new one. It seems like it should be so straightforward to fix though.

@DELL-Nat M After running the update utility as administrator, I get a bunch of string errors referencing a nRF24LUI Boot Loader Test Application and the app closes.

@DELL-Nat M I had to move the .exe to my C:\ and run as admin from there. After doing so, I click Update Firmware and it sits and then errors out, saying Enumeration Fail! Update Fail, please try again.

@DELL-Nat M
Hallo,
today 25.01.2025 exactly the same thing happened to me with a KM5221W during the update. It cost me or my customer "only" 1.5 hours of working time. After I started this Google search "nrf24lu1p-f32 boot ldr dell". It's nice that there has been a workaround for 2 months. But couldn't you slowly distribute the firmware update on the servers? So eliminate the cause of the problem?

@DELL-Nat M I have the same symptoms but the Standalone Bootloader Utility did not work for me. My device shows up as nRF24LU1P-F32 BLD and not nRF24LU1P-F32 BOOT LDR. I also get an enumeration error when trying to update:
