Replacement Screen for XPS 17 9700 FHD
I have an XPS 17 9700 with FHD screen that has many vertical black lines (dead pixels). Where can I find a replacement screen for this? Do I need to replace the entire screen or just some of the electronic driver components?

Try EBay -- there are many available. You will need a complete screen assembly.

I checked eBay and then went to Dell support to see if they could ID my specific screen model/part number.
Then the support representative told me that they had the part. I'd looked on the website earlier, but they didn't have it. It turns out the the Dell post-warranty group has a different inventory and the price was reasonable. So I just ordered it there.
