WD15 Dock problems w/XPS 15 7590

Hello everyone! I have been experiencing a lot of problems with my Dell WD15 docking station. Lately when I have tried to connect my XPS 15 7590 to it, I will receive two notifications from Windows: one telling me that I need to download Dell Command | Update and another telling me that my charger is slow. When I check the BIOS to see what the reported charger wattage is, it reports 60 W despite me having a 180 W brick connected to the docking station; it normally reports 130 W. I also cannot get any video output out of the dock. The firmware is up to date as I tried running the update utility and the dock version matched the updated version. I should also mention that I tried connecting the 180 W brick to a different Dell laptop (an Inspiron 15R 5521) with the same connector and the BIOS on that laptop reported 210 W, so I don't think the brick is faulty. Any ideas on how to fix the problem?

Here's my system specs:

PC: Dell XPS 15 7590

CPU: Intel Core i7-9750h 6c/12t

RAM: 16 GB Crucial DDR4-2666 dual-channel

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 4 GB (mobile)

SSD: EDILOCA EN605 512 GB PCIe 3.0

" 1080p matte LCD (non-touch)

Battery: Original 86 Wh

Chargers: original 130 W directly to laptop, 180 W with dock

The dock seems to be working fine now. It must have been some weird glitch. Thanks for the help though!

If two systems are failing to report the adapter correctly (presuming you mean 130W, not 180) -- one over and one under the actual rating, the adapter is the first suspect.

I should also note that Dell docking stations will reserve a portion of the adapter's power for themselves. The dock is supposed to report 130 W with the 180 W adapter.

Does the system recognize and function correctly with the adapter directly connected?
