About me

<p> I am the Network Administrator for an EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) provider in the Portland, Oregon metro area. An EMS is a contract circuit board manufacturer in case anyone was wondering.</p> <p> I am a Windows Admin, PC Troubleshooter, Desktop Support Geek and Microsoft fan who's pretty well skilled in all things PC Hardware related but couldn't code to save his life.</p> <p> I'm a Microsoft user but love my Android phone. I also require coffee to function.</p> <p> Being in IT means I'm a permanent student so hopefully new skills will always be added.</p> <p> I have a smartass attitude, a sarcastic wit, and an unusual sense of humor. I speak my mind and expect others to as well. I am not mean but if someone is being an idiot, I'm going to tell them. I expect everyone to do the same to me.</p> <p> I am my own worst enemy. My work is never good enough, my skills are never high enough.</p> <p> A favorite quote of mine is a Latin phrase: "Aut viam inveniam, aut faciam."</p> <p>Roughly translated it means "I will either find a way, or I will make one."</p> <p>Words to live by in IT.</p> <p>Other than the geek traits, I am a happily married guy who has two awesome step-kids.
