About me

<p>I'm an IT Pro at the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. I manage the operations side of IT at Olin. We're primarily a Microsoft shop, and in years past I handled everything from SQL to SharePoint to Exchange, desktops to servers, and so on. These days we're centralizing more with our central IT at the University and making use of services such as Office 365 for our faculty, staff, and students.<br /><br />My primary focus here in the Dell community is around desktop deployment. We don't have many Dell servers anymore as most of our physical servers have been replaced by VMs running in our central IT's VMware environment. They're still on Dell hardware, but somebody else manages that on our behalf.<br /><br />I'm a huge fan of all things Disney (but especially the theme parks and resorts) and travel (especially cruising).
