About me

I am a former Army brat. In my early 60"s. My Dad was a survivor of the Bataan Death March and a POW during WWII. I traveled extensively as he continued his career for twenty years after he came back from overseas. We were a family of six children. I am currently working on writing my memoirs about the life we experienced growing up. I married a Viet Nam Veteran in 1971. It was out of the frying pan into the fire for me with PTSD. My 27 year marriage ended with his emotional collapse. We had one daughter and I now have one grandson who are beloved to me. I have since remarried in 2005. I have some college under my belt but never got my degree. I recently went back to college and took two college courses both related to Business. I am proud to say I got an "A" in both. Back when I was a young wife, women belonged in the home. I am certainly an "old -schooler" on that point. I wouldn't trade places with women today. Our families stuck together and lived simply being satisfied with what we needed.

I find computers intriguing but at times confusing. I know a bit more than some; but much less than most when it comes to computer technology. I appreciate the support group here.

Personally; I look forward to a better world soon to replace this one with all of its pain and suffering.
